Clients & Successes
We at Chapel Forge have been very fortunate to work with some very high class racehorses, broodmares and sale-topping yearlings over the years, with Gary and our team working with our stables and studs to produce the dream, 'successful and sound horses'.
Flat Racing
In 2011 Chapel Forge enjoyed a successful season with our flat training clients including Charles Hills, John Hills, Clive Cox, Sylvester Kirk and Jamie Osborne.
Highlights include
- Charles Hills, taking over from his father, Ransom Note winning Group 2 & 3 at Newmarket in the Earl of Sefton and Joel Stakes
- Clive Cox's expanding flat yard, with exciting two year olds and many to look forward to for 2012, and sadly losing some old favorites due to retirement such as Dansili Dancer, Balthazar's Gift and Dunelight.
National Hunt Racing
2011 was also a fantastic year with our National Hunt stables including Nicky Henderson, Malcolm Denmark's Weathercock House Stables and Jamie Snowden moving to Lambourn (an exciting young trainer).
We welcome James Snowden and his team to the Lambourn Valley and everyone at Chapel Forge Farriers wishes him all the best for this season and hope his team has a successful time.
